Experience:
Mr. Farmer, Vice President and Principal of Booziotis & Company has been with the firm since 1980. Prior to coming to the firm, Mr Farmer's career focused on hotel and hospitality design, with a strong focus on planning conference and ballroom space in commercial hotels.

At Booziotis & Company, Mr. Farmer's experience has focused primarily on institutional environments, with a strong emphasis on spaces designed for training, education, worship, conferencing and other environments for assembly, education and food service. His background provided a strong basis from which to assume administration and management, as well as principal design responsibility for many of more than four hundred projects completed at Texas Instruments that focus on interior architecture, renovation and interior design.

Mr Farmer's administrative responsibilities include the development of an overall quality program focused on all aspects of professional practice ranging from understanding client input to communication with the contractor's team in the field.

Current Project Experience

• Dallas County Community College District, Richland College: Principal/Project Manager, Programming, Full Architectural Services and Interior Design for 70,000 square foot facility on two floors, housing the college registration and student services on the first floor and Continuing Education Computer Labs/Training Facilities on the second floor to be used for out-sourced training for employees of many local high tech corporations.

• Texas Instruments, Various Projects; Project Architect/Project Manager and Principal for several projects including renovation of 1.3 million square foot manufacturing plant into corporate headquarters, and into the primary research/development and design center for TI, including interior design for entire facility. Other Projects include several training centers, team facilities and corporate marketing and training complexes at various TI locations. Over 200 projects over a fifteen year period.

• The Mabel Peters Caruth Center, Communities Foundation of Texas, Corporate Headquarters, Dallas, Texas, Principal/Project Manger for Master Planning, Programming, All Design and Construction Phases of 58,000 square foot headquarters building.

 

• Jack S Blanton Museum of Art, University of Texas at Austin, , Project Manager for Architect of Record for complete architectural services for the 100,000 square foot Art Museum/Art education facility.
